Use your Rowenta steam iron for a facial

Nothing is more invigorating than a steam facial to open pores and cleanse your skin. It's a main attraction in every spa. Though it decreases your carbon foot print by using natural steam and water to do the trick. It uses a large amount of our precious water resources. Well, you can still enjoy that awesome treat without using up huge amounts of water. It can be cheaper, quicker and very practical.

You can have your very on spa treatment in the exclusive location of your kitchen or bathroom. And you don't even have to fill up any basins to do it. I caution you to be a responsible adult with this procedure. Mis-use can result in injury to your soft tissue. In my opinion, a Rowenta steam iron is the best for this procedure. It give off huge amounts of steam.

Fill your steam iron and set it to the lowest heat setting at the highest steam setting. Take a metal pot lid and place it knob side down into the sink's drain. Carefully place the steam iron on the pot lid so it is properly balanced. Be careful to not let the steam burn you. With the steam being directed up in a narrow bowl, the heat is more concentrated. Hence, the reason for the lowest heat setting that will still produce steam.

Gage the amount of steam and heat coming from the iron. Take a dampened towel and cover your head over the sink and iron. You will have to adjust your height according to your comfort level. But start as far away that you can feel the heat and move in closer a little at a time.

Increase heat as able to bare. Because of the constant heat level produced by the iron, you need not stay as long as you would under a spa basin. Once the water has evaporated, you can add more or end your facial treatment. I caution you once again. Steam  is very hot and can cause burns quicker than heat from fire. So, please be safe. I am not held responsible for any damages that result from using this process. Only responsible adults should even consider this procedure.
