Rowenta Articles

These articles are packed with decision changing data that will have you chomping at the bits to purchase a Rowenta steam iron. If I sound biased, it's because I am. I began using a Rowenta steam iron back in 2000 and haven't looked back since. Carefully read the articles and make a wise choice to buy one of these jewels. You wont be sorry. I make every attempt  to be as honest  as possible in my assessment. But truly the pros far out weigh the cons. Don't let others stop you from making the best choice ever in buying one for home, travel, or business.  Rowenta not only strives to develope steam ironing technology to make ironing less of a task, they also care about the environment as well as the safety of children and pets.

Because of their commitment to producing fast, professional results in ironing by perfecting the steam producing power of their irons, you no longer have to worry about adding your foot print to the planet in a negative way by using chemicals to get professional results. Nor do you have to contribute to businesses using harmful agents to clean, deodorize and steam your clothes. You can do it safely and in an environmentally friendly way by using clean, powerful steam.

Steam Ironing Tip:

One problem that plagues all who do their own ironing is the dreaded burning or melting of a garment from too much heat from the steam iron.  To help minimize that, hold the steam iron down horizontally until steam comes from the sole plate and then make contact with the fabric.  The steam forms a micro film between the iron and fabric.  Causing a distribution of heat that helps keep the fabric from burning or melting.  Of course you always want to use the temperature selection advised by the manufacturer.  But by using this little trick, I have been able to iron some rayon garments at a higher temp without melting it or giving it that "shiney" appearance.
